Book Club THIS Thurs. FEb. 23 @ 7pm
“Rahab learned to cling to God in the midst of her sorrows, to believe in Him more than she believed in fear. For me, that is one of the most crucial components of faith: becoming a person who gives God full access to every part of one’s soul, even if that access sometimes hurts because it involves the demolition of one’s defensive walls." – Tessa Afshar, author
Discussion of Pearl in the Sand by Tessa Afshar will be THIS Thursday, February 23 at 7 pm at Ring Mountain CafĂ© in Eagan. It will be great to hear everyone’s reaction to the story of Rahab. A special give away of two copies of The Pastor’s Wife and voting for the remaining book club selections for 2012 will round out the evening.
Then we meet again Thursday, April 12 to discuss the novel, Nightingale by Susan May Warren. Questions? Contact Sharon Moore 651-687-0509 or bookclub@ssefc.org.
