Children's Musical - Livin' Inside Out!

SSEFC presents the children's musical...Livin' Inside Out In an Upside Down World! Sunday, May 16 performed in both services: 9 & 10:45 am.

"What You are after Lord, is truth . . . from the inside out!" Psalm 51:6. That's exactly what this new children's musical from best-selling creator, Celeste Clydesdale, is all about . . . God's truth changing us to live inside out so we can live for Him in an upside down world. Based on Scripture, the story of Zach, a star athlete, unfolds. Injured before a big game, the prideful Zach learns about humility and sacrifice, and how God's ways are different from the world's ways.

Through sweet voices and wonderful drama, the children of SSEFC will inspire us to rid ourselves of pride and live for Jesus! This musical is another great opportunity provided at SSEFC to be missional so please invite your family, neighbors and friends today.

SAVE THE DATES for VBS! July 26-30!

Summer is coming fast and with it Vacation Bible School will be here before we know it! VBS may not be considered a Women's Ministry event, but many of us have children/grandchildren that can either participate OR older children that can volunteer.... And, of course, VBS needs you too! So it's never too early to get the word out for such a fantastic OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY!

VBS will be in the EVENING from 6 - 8:30 PM July 26 - 30. Repeat.....It's an EVENING VBS! This is great news for daytime working adults who would love the opportunity to serve. VBS will also be the LAST week in JULY which is different from previous years. VBS is for children going into grades 1st-6th and Preschool age children of volunteers only. The theme is Hero HeadQuarters - Where Kids Join Forces With God!. Through fun music, action-packed games, tasty snacks and memorable Bible stories, kids will learn what it means to be a hero and that God, Himself, is the greatest hero of all!

You will be hearing a lot about "Taking the SSEFC VBS Challenge". The Challenge is simple: Every family that participates in VBS is challenged to invite one child that needs to hear the gospel message. VBS is fun and exciting and our own kids will love it, but VBS is first and foremost an OUTREACH. So please mark your calendars, consider sending your children and/or serving and then inviting a child or two. And please start praying for VBS now!

Registration forms and online registration will be coming at a later date. See Jeff Larson and Stephanie Buckland with questions or ideas for where you can serve. Watch the bulletin and this blog for more details.
