Opportunity to Serve THIS Friday, Dec. 2!

Contact Jan Birkenholz at 952-431-1995 if you (age 13 or over) are interested in volunteering at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center THIS Friday, December 2. We will be helping to inspect and pack boxes prior to shipping them off to children across the world. If interested, contact Jan regarding time, location and rides, etc. Thank You!

Women's Christmas Social, Tues. Dec. 6

Ladies, you are invited to "A Christmas Steeped in Tradition" Tuesday, December 6 in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 pm. It will be a fun, casual evening of fun, food and fellowship. Invite a friend or two and bring a treat to share. The event is free to all! We will be tying blankets at the social to give along with the sheets/towels we are collecting this holiday season. Let's go love our world (GLOW) as we provide these basic needs to women and children at Dakota Woodlands in Eagan. There is a suggested donation of $5 for blanket supplies. For more info visit the Women’s Ministry Table at church on Sunday mornings. See you for a warm and cozy evening of Christmas fun and inspiration!

Thanksgiving is Coming!

South Suburban is hosting a traditional Thanksgiving meal, Thursday, November 24. ALL ARE WELCOME! And it's never too late to join us! We have a nice group coming together to celebrate and we would love even more. We will gather around 3 pm or so and begin the big meal at 4 pm. The turkey and all the plates, silverware, etc. will be provided. If you so wish, you can offer a side dish or dessert to share.

Around 6 pm, we will gather in the Journey Room for some games, desserts and the family movie, Secretariat. If you can't make the meal, please feel free to join us for dessert and fun in the Journey Room.

This Thanksgiving celebration is for all ages, couples, singles, families and people from the community. If you know of some neighbors, etc. that need a place to celebrate, please bring them!

Women's Christmas Social, Dec. 6

Come celebrate "A Christmas Steeped in Tradition" Tuesday, December 6 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall at SSEFC. Invite family and friends and join other ladies for a festive evening of holiday treats and Christmas inspiration! Come learn about popular Christmas traditions and why we celebrate them.

This wonderful evening will also include a time to serve and love our world around us by tying cozy fleece blankets to give away to women living at Dakota Woodlands in Eagan. There will be a suggested donation of $5 for the blanket supplies. Watch for sign-ups for this service project soon during church.

Don't miss this warm and dazzling evening to fellowship, serve our community and celebrate the Christ of Christmas! Invite friends today and please don't forget to bring your favorite holiday treat to share. See you Tuesday evening, December 6th!
