NEW Women's Bible Study!

Session 2 of the Tuesday morning women's Bible Study is starting up January 17 with a kick-off brunch. This study runs through April 10, 2012 and it meets every Tuesday from 9:30 - 11 am in the Journey Room at SSEFC. We will be studying the book, Lies Women Believe: And The Truth That Sets Them Free by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. The cost is $15 for the book and $20 per family for childcare if needed (birth - K). The evening women's study continues to meet every 1st and 3rd Monday and will continue to study the book Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. What a fun Christmas Social!

Many fleece blankets will be making their way to Dakota Woodlands in Eagan for women and families in need. Christmas Social THIS Tues. Dec. 6 @ 7pm!

The Women's Christmas Social, "A Christmas Steeped in Tradition" is coming THIS Tuesday, December 6 in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 pm. It will be a fun, casual evening of fun, food and fellowship. Invite a friend or two and bring a treat to share. The event is free to all! We will be tying blankets at the social to give along with the sheets/towels we are collecting this holiday season. Let's go love our world (GLOW) as we provide these basic needs to women and children at Dakota Woodlands in Eagan. There is a suggested donation of $5 for blanket supplies. See you THIS TUESDAY for a warm and cozy evening of Christmas fun and inspiration!

A Fun & Tasty Success!

Thanksgiving at SSEFC was indeed a fun and tasty success! It was definitely a party with 34 people! Thank you to everyone who came and for the many hands and delicious contributions that made the meal possible. It was a special time filled with laughter and togetherness....and, of course, an over abundance of food! Please consider joining us next year!

Our next Book Club will meet Thursday, January 5, 7 pm at Ring Mountain Café in Eagan. We will be discussing the novel Promises to Keep by Ann Tatlock. Thanks to all the book club participants.
