Park Days is meeting this week, Wednesday, June 29 at 11 am! Park Days is a fun time to meet with other parents and their kids to play and fellowship at Farquar Park in Apple Valley. Parents and kids meet at 11 am to whenever you need to leave. Pack a lunch and stay awhile! Park Days provides the perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbors who are not from SSEFC to a casual and fun setting. Next Book Club: Thurs. July 21 @ 7pm

The next Book Club meeting will be Thursday, July 21, 7 pm at Ring Mountain Café in Eagan. We will be discussing the novel My Heart Remembers by Kim Vogel Sawyer. Contact Sharon Moore with questions. Copies of the book are available in the church library and public libraries. Invite a friend to read the book with you and we will see you at Book Club!

2. Book Club is meeting this Thursday, June 16 at 7 pm at South Suburban Evangelical Free Church in the Fellowship Hall. We will have a very special guest to help us with our book discussion--Julie Klassen, the author of our book choice, The Girl in the Gatehouse. This will be a great evening with Julie Klassen as she talks about her novels and the publishing world. Julie has a marketing background and is an editor and author of several award winning novels. The Girl in the Gatehouse was recently nominated for the 2011 Christy Award for Historical Romance. We will have plenty of room at SSEFC so be sure to invite others to join us! Please let Sharon Moore know if you are willing to make a plate of bars or cookies and if you would like to help with decorating. It's going to be a great evening...see you there!

Next Jubilee Planning Meeting: Tues. July 12 @ 7pm

Come and get involved in the planning of this huge outreach event in our community! The next planning meeting is Tuesday, July 12 at 7pm at River Valley Church in Apple Valley (14898 Energy Way). The meeting after that will be Tuesday, July 26, same time and place.

Next Fellowship Lunch: Sunday, June 5!

Reminder: Following the second service this coming Sunday, June 5 in the Fellowship Hall, the SonSurf Beach Bash VBS Planning Team will host the next fellowship lunch–this one with a tropical, beach party flare! There will be a VBS Information/Registration table, so please stop by and get more information on where you can serve and plan to get your kids registered. There will be plenty of fliers available so take a bunch and start inviting your friends to VBS! VBS will be Sunday to Thursday, July 24-28 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

For the luncheon this Sunday, each family is asked to bring a main dish, plus last names A-L bring salad/side dish or bread; M-Z bring dessert.
