An Opportunity to Pray
Here are three opportunities for much needed prayer for SSEFC. Please pray now even as you read through this post. Any questions for the call committee, email callcommittee@ssefc.org
Book marks with these verses and prayer requests can be found at the SSEFC Welcome Desk.
Please pray for our New Pastor Call Committee: Ephesians 3:20-21
*Pray that they will have the mind of Christ and agree.
*Pray for patience in God's perfect timing.
*Pray for wisdom to choose the right person.
*Pray for discipline for the call committee and other church leaders to follow through with assignments to carefully consider decisions, and to pray first and foremost.
Pray for our next Pastor: I Samuel 16:7
*Pray that God would sustain His passion for preaching the Word of God.
*Pray that God would give him a love for our church and clear discernment of God's call to come and serve here.
*Pray that our next pastor would begin healthy new relationships at our church even during the search process.
*Pray that God would prepare our future pastor, through the trials and blessings he has faced, to be able to shepherd our flock effectively.
*Pray for our next pastor's family and all the changes that come with beginning somewhere new.
Pray for the people at SSEFC: Philippians 1:9-10
*Pray for patience with the search process.
*Pray that our people will wisely and actively contribute to the call process in constructive ways.
*Pray for healthy relationships and communication among our people.
*Pray for a growing anticipation of what God will be doing in the future of SSEFC.
Thank you members of the Call Committee! Thank you praying friends at SSEFC! To God be the Glory!
