SonSurf is Coming to South Sub!

It's a promise...Summer will come! So please mark your calendars for SonSurf Vacation Bible School. Join us for this super fun beach bash SUNDAY - THURSDAY, July 24 - 28 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. There will be lots of ways you can serve and the kids in your life (going into grades 1-6) and their friends will have an awesometacular time! There will be plenty more details to come. For now, just mark your calendars and pray for how you will want to serve and start thinking about who your kids will invite to VBS. Everyone will be challenged to Catch the Wave and take the SSEFC VBS Challenge and invite at least one friend to VBS this summer.

Jubilee Has a Date!

Jubilee 2011 has a date! It will be Saturday, September 17 at the Apple Valley Water Park (parking lot) from 10 am to 3 pm. This is a one-day outreach event to serve the people in our community who are in need, but it takes a ton of planning to pull it off. So please prayerfully consider getting involved in its planning in addition to the actual day of the event. The next Jubilee Planning Meeting will be Tuesday, April 5 at 7 pm at River Valley Church. There are many areas that need your time and leadership. At SSEFC, we are currently collecting donations of the following items to give away at the event. Look for collection bins in the hallways of SSEFC marked "Jubilee". We are collecting: Shampoo/Conditioner, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Bars of Soap, 4-pack of Toilet Paper, and 100 oz. Laundry Detergent. There is so much we can do and so much we can give to be a blessing to our community.

Next Book Club - Thurs. March 31 @ 7 pm

The next SSEFC Women's Book Club will be at Ring Mountain Café in Eagan at 7 pm on Thursday, March 31. Join us as we discuss All the Tea in China by Jane Orcutt. The good, young Englishwoman knows that her destiny depends upon a good marriage match. But Isabella Goodrich is not your typical good, young Englishwoman. Welcome Brunch for Marie King!

What a wonderful blessing to have Pastor David King and his sweet wife, Marie, at SSEFC!
