Our next Book Club will meet Thursday, August 15 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall at SSEFC. We will discuss the Christy Award winning novel, You Don’t Know Me by Susan May Warren and have a baby shower for Jaime Fipp. Jaime is having a girl (and yes, she does like pink!). Calling Helpers to Decorate for VBS!

SonWest Roundup VBS is coming soon! Sunday to Thursday, Aug. 4-8 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We need help to make the Journey Room and surrounding hallways look like a ranch. Join us on Tuesday, July 16 from 10 am - 2 pm to decorate. Come when you can. Leave when you must! Lunch (tasty grub) will be provided. Lasso up your school age buckaroos to help as well. Yee Haw! We will discuss the novel, The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck. If you have a picture of a wedding dress from any era, please bring it that evening. We will have a “Guess the Decade” contest to win a copy of Rachel’s other books. Let Sharon know at bookclub@ssefc.org if you are willing to bring your favorite wedding punch for our refreshments. Summer is going to come...and so is VBS!

Saddle up and get ready to ride for Jesus! SonWest RoundUp Vacation Bible School is coming to SSEFC Sunday, August 4 through Thursday, August 8! VBS will be in the evening from 6:30-8:30 PM for children Pre-K (age 3 before 9.1.13) through going into grade 6. Get a preview of the theme, songs and Bible teachings here! It is going to be a rip-roarin' good time learning and singing about Jesus! SonWest VBS needs YOU! So please pray about how God will use this outreach in our community and how you might be a part of it. Dust off that cowboy hat and those boots and get ready to ride at SonWest RoundUp!
