Items Needed for Bake Sale and Silent Auction

Kathy Luppes of SSEFC has graciously volunteered to head up acquiring bake sale items from SSEFC families to be used at the fundraiser for Elsie Jacobson at Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub in St. Paul on Sunday, April 14 from 2pm to 6pm. Elsie has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and the family really needs our support, love and prayers. Please contact Kathy if you are able to donate a baked item. Her contact info is in the church directory. In addition to the bake sale, there will be a silent auction. If anyone is interested in donating items for the auction (such as gift cards, services, show tickets, sporting event tickets, etc.) or helping with the fundraiser in any way, please contact Shannon Tabor (Nate Jacobson's sister) at 507-319-0753. Feeling crafty?

Use your crafty side to love the world around you. Join other ladies of SSEFC for a fun morning of card making for Bundles of Love, a local ministry that helps new mothers in need. Supplies and materials are provided. We hope to see you there, Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 am in room 253 at SSEFC.

Next Book Club Thurs. April 11 @ 7pm

The next Book Club will gather Thursday, April 11 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall at SSEFC. We will discuss the novel, Lost and Found by Ginny Yttrup. Both the church library and public library have copies available.

Set Apart Conference for Women

Set Apart, a faith-filled conference for women, is coming March 8 & 9, 2013 to Northwestern College in Roseville, MN. Go here for more information. Help Out "Bundles of Love"

Here's another opportunity to love the world around us. Bundles of Love, a local organization that provides bundles of clothing and bedding for newborn babies whose mother’s have no other means of support is in need of cards of encouragement to go with the bundles. Cards and materials are already made and gathered. We just need to assemble to bundles. Let's meet together Saturday, February 2 from 10 am to Noon in the Fellowship Hall at SSEFC to serve the LORD by serving others. Hope to see you there!
